Thaicom Showcases Capabilities at the National Emergency Alert System Exhibition (CBC) — Highlighting ‘Globalstar’ Satellite Solutions to Strengthen Nationwide Disaster Warning for Wildfires and Floods

Bangkok 27 November 2025 Thaicom Public Company Limited, Asias leading satellite operator, participated in the National Emergency Alert System Development Project Exhibition (Cell Broadcast Center: CBC) on 27 November, presenting cutting-edge space-based innovations that enhance public safety.

At the exhibition, Thaicom showcased the Globalstar satellite communication service a low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite constellation designed for highly efficient transmission of small data packets (IoT Data). Globalstar provides reliable connectivity even in remote, rugged, and underserved areas where terrestrial telecommunications networks are unavailableareas often highly vulnerable to natural disasters.

Thaicoms participation reaffirms its commitment to integrating satellite infrastructure with the governments Cell Broadcast system to close communication gaps and significantly enhance the nations disaster management capabilities. The initiative aims to reduce loss of life and damage to property by ensuring timely and effective emergency alerts for all communities, regardless of location.
