Description
SPOT Gen4 lets users check in with managers and colleagues by sending pre-programmed text messages or emails with their GPS coordinates. Users also have a life-saving line of communication if the unexpected should happen; Gen4 sends your GPS location to emergency responders with the push of a button.
Custom Tracking Rate
SPOT Gen4's customized tracking allows you to change the rate tracks are sent to 2.5, 5, 10, 30, or 60 minutes. Extreme Tracking upgrade is required for 2 ½ minute tracking.
Motion-Activated Tracking
A vibration sensor tells SPOT to send your GPS location when you are moving and to stop when you do. This conserves battery power and avoids sending duplicate tracks.
Continuous Tracking
SPOT Gen4 will send track messages until you turn off your SPOT. No need to reset after 24 hours.
