Bangkok – 8 September 2026 – Gulf Space Technology Public Company Limited (GST) presented the Globalstar satellite communications solutions at the presentation of study results supporting the National Strategy by students of the National Defence Course (NDC), Class 68, highlighting the role of satellite technology in supporting communications and safety for missions in remote areas and locations beyond terrestrial network coverage.

The event was organized by the students of the National Defence Course, Class 68, under the theme "Resilient Thailand: Strong Within, Resilient Beyond," to present strategic proposals and approaches for driving the National Strategy across various dimensions of the country. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, presided over the event, joined by commanders and representatives from government agencies, public bodies, and the private sector.

During the event, Lieutenant General Adul Boonthamcharoen, Minister of Defence, together with Admiral Nares Wongtrakul, Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Navy, and Lieutenant General Akkadej Prateepusanon, Director of the National Defence College, National Defence Studies Institute, honored GST's exhibition with a visit. Dr. Piyawat Jariyasetpong, Chief Executive Officer of GST, and the Class 68 NDC students welcomed and guided the tour at the Multipurpose Building, National Defence Studies Institute, Din Daeng District, Bangkok.

GST presented the Globalstar satellite solutions as an example of LEO & Mobility solutions connecting personnel and assets in the field back to operations centers via a low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite network, with applications in location tracking, data transmission, and emergency alerting to improve safety and mission management efficiency.

Globalstar helps close the communication gap in areas where mobile signals or terrestrial networks are limited — such as border zones, forests, mountains, or disaster-affected areas — allowing officers to operate with greater confidence and a backup communication channel when needed. This presentation of Globalstar reflects the role of LEO satellite technology in supporting the Resilient Thailand concept, with resilient communications infrastructure ready to serve security missions and field operations in remote areas.
